2025 - 2026, look ahead.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a month since the KOM Apparel website went live. As cliché as it sounds, the time has absolutely flown. In my last blog, I talked about the lessons I’d been learning, turns out the learning curve has only gotten steeper.

Take content creation, for example. As a self-confessed grumpy millennial, I used to watch social media influencers and wonder, “How hard can that really be?” The answer that is now painfully clear is: harder than I ever expected. I’ve been embracing my inner scientist lately, experimenting, tweaking, failing, and trying again. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to properly self-teach something from scratch, and it’s been both humbling and energising.

Running KOM Apparel as a solo start-up means I’m spinning a lot of plates, but strangely enough, I’m enjoying operating so far outside my comfort zone. Supplying premium gym wear and activewear puts us in a crowded, competitive market, but it’s a challenge I’m leaning into, and one I’m excited to keep tackling in the new year.

This will be my last blog post until 2026. No profound predictions, no dramatic signoffs, just a genuine thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read, thank you to everyone who has supported KOM Apparel so far, and an extra thank you to those who have placed an order or followed us on Instagram and Pinterest. Your support genuinely means the world.
